Fieldwork Diary part 2

The second week mostly outing to certain agencies. Its really tiring yet fun cause I can see my friends doing their job at their agencies. I've learnt a lot from the outing cause our supervisor letting us to get in touch with the other agency. 

I can see the differences on how their services and what their functions. Everyone hold their own responsibilities. So proud of being social worker. But, so many things I still have to learnt and to understand. While updating this entry, I'm working on my individual assignment on fieldwork practices. Still need to clear my mind and see through MHA functions so I can write the good one.

Fieldwork Diary part 1

The first time got to know that my fieldwork placement is my second choice, I felt a bit disappoint. Never knew that will be another beginning of another busy weeks ever...

D-day of the fieldwork..felt so worry, confuse and a bit scare. Well, its their home and I'm not quite sure either they are can be called 'normal' or still under their own world. A little by little get to know them and be familiarize with them, those worries and scaredy-cat of me gone. I know, for my profession, the most important thing is to be a non-judgmental person but still I can't avoid it. 

Tomorrow will be the another day going there. Hope everything will be ok and get to know them very well as this fieldwork took until December. Gambateh Teena!
