Fieldwork Diary part 2

The second week mostly outing to certain agencies. Its really tiring yet fun cause I can see my friends doing their job at their agencies. I've learnt a lot from the outing cause our supervisor letting us to get in touch with the other agency. 

I can see the differences on how their services and what their functions. Everyone hold their own responsibilities. So proud of being social worker. But, so many things I still have to learnt and to understand. While updating this entry, I'm working on my individual assignment on fieldwork practices. Still need to clear my mind and see through MHA functions so I can write the good one.

Fieldwork Diary part 1

The first time got to know that my fieldwork placement is my second choice, I felt a bit disappoint. Never knew that will be another beginning of another busy weeks ever...

D-day of the fieldwork..felt so worry, confuse and a bit scare. Well, its their home and I'm not quite sure either they are can be called 'normal' or still under their own world. A little by little get to know them and be familiarize with them, those worries and scaredy-cat of me gone. I know, for my profession, the most important thing is to be a non-judgmental person but still I can't avoid it. 

Tomorrow will be the another day going there. Hope everything will be ok and get to know them very well as this fieldwork took until December. Gambateh Teena!

Bicara Kampus TV1 : Integrasi Nasional?

All of these talks really tick-me-off. I'm an UNIMAS student also and I really proud of it. But, I'm not proud of these talks. As a remembrance, make sure you got a fair and the right research before you spit the nonsense. I know I'm not a perfect person too to comment on these as I'm still studying and incomplete enough to make it into outside world. But, always remember there is also a limit for a certain issues to comment for. And there is always someone trying to exploit these for their own benefit.

Diam tak semestinya hilang

Beberapa bulan dah aku tak update blog ni. Sekarang, aku gunakan masa yang ada untuk update blog ni. Lama dah tak mengekspresikan diri kat sini..terasa beku pula otak.

2 bulan yang lepas aku pergi cuti semester. Baru balik dari cuti lah ni.. Kekadang masa membataskan diri untuk meluahkan segalanya di sini. Cuti memang lah cuti, tapi aku pergi kerja part-time juga. at least, tak lah bosan sangat kalau duduk kat rumah jer. Akhirnya berjaya juga kau dapatkan kerja part-time as a waitress kat D hotel (Nama hotel terpaksa cover sikit untuk kebaikan bersama :) )

Sayang aku tak sempat nak pose segala time waktu kerja. Time kerja memang tak menang tangan punya. Tapi syukur, dengan kerja ni banyak benda yang aku telah belajar. Cara yang betul untuk serve, D-bone ikan & ayam and especially setting tempat. All the workers and the supervisors really a good helper to me. Malah, diaorang agak baik juga. Tak kedekut ilmu nak ajar budak hingusan macam aku ni. Really learns a lot from here. Maybe kalo next sem break, aku akan kerja balik ngan diaorang. Well, ada gak pocket money daripada goyang kaki jer kan. :)

Trip ni dianjurkan oleh Kelab Pelestarian Alam Sekitar 2012 teras Kesukarelawanan.
Pelbagai aktiviti yang dianjurkan sepanjang program ni..aku tak ikut main lah coz aku offer diri jadi photographer org punya camera. Part yang paling bestnya time kami orang mandi laut. Everyone enjoy the moment very much. Harap lain kali dapat pergi sini lagi. Kat sini aku sertakan sekali pictures yang tak serupa kandid sini. Enjoy! :) 

Minggu depan lagi Kelab Pelestarian Alam Sekitar ni akan anjurkan satu lagi aktiviti iaitu Kembara Hijau selama 2 hari iaitu Sabtu & Ahad. program ni pula libatkan pelajar sekolah rendah & student UNIMAS gak..so, kalau aku x malas, aku update kan lagi pasal Kembara Hijau..ehe.. ^.^
